Hello there! I just got an update from the Nike Marathon coordinator. Volunteer spots are still open for Union Square from 5AM to 9:30AM. I would really appreciate it if you some of you guys would be wiling to do that shift. The shift is significantly shorter than the Golden Gate Park shift, but you will receive MORE credit! You will receive THREE credits for volunteering at Union Square. That's all the credits you need for this semester! Awesome, no?

UNION SQUARE VOLUNTEERS WILL ALSO RECEIVE A "SPECIAL GIFT" FROM OUR CLUB!

We feel horrible about the whole incident, so we want to make it up to the people who are flexible! I can assure you that the "special gift" will be uber yummy!

Keep in mind that volunteering at Union Square would mean you wouldn't have to deal with sweaty runners! Volunteers will be setting up the race area and helping the runners with their numbers, etc. You guys will also get first dibs on the goodies!

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Please consider switching to the Union Square shift. Our club will get $600 if we can get at least 20 people to Golden Gate Park and 40 to Union Square. You guys can expect a big party afterwards!

Please e-mail me with your preference. If we do not get enough people to switch to the Union Square shift, I will have no choice but to cut people off the list. I really don't want to do that, so please be flexible! I appreciate your cooperation. Thanks in advance!
