Hey everyone! Because I've received many requests for more opportunities to fulfill the three volunteer credit requirements for the fall semester, I've been doing some major googling lately. The Treasure Island Triathlon is coming up, but the location/time might be a problem for some. That's why I've decided to introduce another collection event.

Save Lids to Save Lives, sponsored by the Yoplait yogurt company, is in its eighth year. For every pink lid sent in, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, up to $1.5 million dollars with a $500,000 guaranteed donation. Let's do our part to help them reach their goal!

For every 25 pink lids you bring in, you will receive one volunteer credit. Simple, no? You have until Tuesday, December 13th to turn in your lids. So grab a spoon and get ready to lick some lids!

NOTE: We will only accept CLEAN lids. Please do us a big favor and RINSE your lids before turning them in!
